Getting Started: Armatures Kit

You'll be able to make many armatures with this kit, depending on the size you make.  I've included several types of wire, so you can experiment with them and see what you prefer.

Kit Contains:

  • 1 roll paper tape
  • 2 24 gauge floral wires (these are great for wings, too)
  • 2 20 gauge floral wires (all the floral wire is great for wings!)
  • 2 18 gauge floral wires 
  • 3 yards 16 gauge sturdy steel wire (great soft-bodied art dolls too!)
  • 3 yards 16 gauge armature wire (this is very flexible and easy to use)
  • 1 yard foil tape (this works so well for armatures!)
  • 3 feet thin aluminum foil (so you have this handy, too, just in case!)
  • 5 large wood skewers (to sculpt the head on)
  • 10 toothpicks (great for baby heads)
