Making a Dainty Hand for your Tiny BJD

I decided to replace the simple, whimsically larger hands on my tiny BJD with some tiny, dainty hands.  I'll show you how I sculpted them in the video below.  Stay tuned for part two where I'll show you how to finish them and attach them to your doll.  These BJD hands could be use for a more advanced BJD, too!

Remember, we are having our first SculptBox contest with this Tiny Mermaid BJD.  She is simple enough to meet all skill levels.

There will be a first, second and third place winner.  Prizes are as follows:

First Prize: 1 year subscription to SculptUniversity.com (access to all the videos!) and $100 gift certificate for videos, supplies, clay etc of your choice from MakingFairies.com

Second Prize: 6 month subscription to SculptUniversity.com (access to all the videos!) and $60 gift certificate for videos, supplies, clay etc of your choice from MakingFairies.com

Third Prize: 3 month subscription to SculptUniversity.com (access to all the videos!) and $35 gift certificate for videos, supplies, clay etc of your choice from MakingFairies.com

To enter, you simply need to purchase a kit here and you are eligible to join the contest.  The contest will go until September 15, 2021, so you will have several weeks to sculpt your Tiny Mermaid.  You can make her bigger if you would like by enlarging her kit pattern.  Complete the doll as you desire, add in your own personality, use whatever extra adornments you like, and send in up to six photos by September 15 as your entry.  It's that easy.  Entries will be judged by several doll artists and results will be broadcast here, on Facebook, and in our newsletters reaching 10,000 people and on our YouTube channel with over 50,000 subscribers.  It's a great chance to show us what you can do!
